A reunion of former & present Ortley residents and former students of the Ortley School!

Many have been sent invitations, but in case you didn't get one in the mail, here's your online invitation! If you'll be able to attend, please RSVP to Brenda Jerde, 16650 449th Ave., Florence, SD 57235.
$5.00 per adult - children free.

NOTE - as many of you know, Waubay is holding its 125th anniversary celebration on July 2-3, so there will be the opportunity to take in those festivities as well. Also, the annual Lebanon Church reunion will be on Sunday, July 3, in the afternoon, for those with Lebanon connections and those who wish to take in the festivities. Lots going on that day! Note that Ortley & Egeland churches will be participating in the Community Worship Service at the Park in Waubay at 10:30 AM Sunday, July 3.

Good job on the blog. Thanks for working to keep Ortley memories alive.
I am looking for the early 1960's era history of Ortley by Carl Melander to scan and reprint. Let me know if you can find a copy.
